Introduction

Our ongoing commitment to building the profile of Moore Markhams NZ Financial Services Ltd continues to gain strong momentum. A recent example was our participation in the Finance, Investment & Innovation Delegation Roundtable hosted by the Auckland Business Chamber on 26 June 2026, where Marc Nel and Michelle Chen had the privilege of presenting to a senior delegation from Shaanxi Province, China.

The roundtable brought together senior government and financial representatives from Shaanxi Province with a select group of New Zealand businesses. It provided a focused and highly relevant platform for practical discussion around finance, investment, innovation, and doing business in New Zealand.

We presented alongside Bradley So from Queen City Law and Tammy Crause from Fox Partnerships, with each presenter covering their specialist area. Our presentation, delivered as Moore Markhams NZ Financial Services Ltd, was titled Doing Business in New Zealand and focused on the practical considerations overseas investors need to understand when entering the New Zealand market.

One Firm, One Conversation

Our key message was simple and powerful: from tax, to structuring, to investment — one firm, one conversation. This positioning is central to how we are building our brand. It reinforces the value we bring through coordinated advice, practical insight, and the ability to connect different aspects of doing business in New Zealand into one clear conversation for clients and professional partners.

The discussion also allowed us to profile New Zealand as an investment destination and to demonstrate the depth of our understanding of the local business, tax, advisory, and investment environment. Importantly, the audience was highly engaged, with strong interaction during the session and a number of follow-up questions and requests afterwards.

Branding, Profiling and Exposure

Opportunities like this are important because they place our brand in front of the right people, in the right setting, and around the right conversations. They help position Moore Markhams NZ Financial Services Ltd as a trusted, practical, and internationally aware advisory partner for businesses, investors, and professional networks looking to engage with New Zealand.

The success of the roundtable was not only in the presentation itself, but in the quality of the engagement it generated. The follow-up conversations, requests for further information, and ongoing interaction all point to the value of consistent market exposure and relationship building. Each event strengthens our visibility and supports the broader objective of building recognition for our services and our people.

Looking Ahead

The future looks positive. We are continuing to create opportunities to raise our profile, build meaningful connections, and present our expertise to audiences that value practical, joined-up advice. This is an encouraging step in our ongoing branding and profiling journey, and it demonstrates the impact of being visible, relevant, and prepared when the right opportunities arise.
