Meet Craig and Bailey, Moore Markhams Big Brothers Big Sisters match in Christchurch.
Craig (Big) and Bailey (Little) were matched in June this year.
Theirs is a school-based match and they meet once a week for one hour. Craig is very committed to the BBBS program and in the future is keen to take Bailey out for sessions during the school holidays.
Bailey was referred to Big Brothers Big Sisters to give him a positive male role model in his life. When the pair met, they became instant friends, laughing and finding out that they are both very competitive, and will have constant challenges and lots of fun.
The smiles have continued through the meet ups every week. Together they play board games, kick a ball around, and have also baked cookies for the school’s administration staff. Craig describes his time with Bailey as an hour filled with laughter and fun.
