We are a Mid-tier established CA firm looking for a Senior BAS Accountant to provide prompt, personalised service across all our accounting, business advisory and financial services. Moore Markhams Auckland has a friendly team and energetic working environment and is seeking a focused and technically strong senior BAS accountant.
This senior position will include the following responsibilities and duties:
- Providing a broad range of business advisory services to clients including meeting compliance requirements, tax planning, cash flow management, budgeting and investment portfolios.
- Building client relationships and aiming to exceed your clients' expectations.
- Assist with mentoring of junior staff.
To be successful in this role a background as follows would be an advantage:
- Four+ years New Zealand CA experience, including strong reporting skills.
- BAS and tax advisory including management reporting.
- A genuine interest in business and sound financial reporting skills.
- The ability to work in a team and meet goals of both the team and the firm.
- Thorough knowledge of Income Tax, GST, FBT and familiar with NZ IRD system.
- The ability to manage client relationships autonomously.
- Strong communication skills and able to articulate to both clients and the team.
