Wairarapa Team News June 2016

Eddie Cranston - Moore Stephens Markhams Wairarapa

We welcome Eddie to the team.

Welcome Eddie

We would like to introduce you to Eddie Cranston, the newest addition to the team here at Moore Stephens Markhams Wairarapa.

Born and raised in Taihape, agriculture played a large part in Eddie’s upbringing.  Along with helping on his small family farm, Eddie also worked in shearing gangs for a number seasons in the central North Island, and in various other farming roles.

Eddie attended Feilding High School and received a sports scholarship (rugby) to study at Lincoln University. After graduating in November 2013, gaining a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting, he took an opportunity to play rugby semi professionally in the United Kingdom.  Based in London, he was able to explore Europe during the summer and play footy in winter. After two seasons abroad, Eddie decided it was the right time to return home to New Zealand and focus his efforts on a career off the field.

Being new to the Wairarapa, Eddie has spent as much time as possible exploring the area. He thinks it is a beautiful place and has been made to feel extremely welcome by everyone he has met. He loves the outdoors and sees Wairarapa as a gateway to feed so many of his interests.

Congratulations to Emma Holmes on attaining her Chartered Accountancy qualification.
