Markhams Otago is a long standing well respected, friendly and professional Accounting firm based in Dunedin’s CBD. We provide Business Advisory, Schools Accounting, Compliance and Business Development services. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful, passionate team. About the role:

We are seeking to fill a full-time position in our busy Business Advisory team. The position is a compliance-based role and you will be providing a range of services and liaising with Directors, our clients and other staff.

About you:

  • You will have experience as an Intermediate Accountant in a New Zealand Accounting firm for a minimum of 3 years;
  • You will have strong technical and taxation skills;
  • You will have a strong work ethic and customer focus, great attention to detail and with the ability to work independently as well as within a team;
  • You are committed to developing your career;
  • You will demonstrate an ability to quickly learn and work with new systems, processes and technology;
  • You are currently living in and are eligible to work in New Zealand.
