Murray Tuck says that when it comes to complex tax questions and international transactions, he might not immediately know the answers, but he does know the right questions to ask.
The Moore Markhams Auckland manager has been promoted to a unique Senior Manager – Tax and International Advisory role that acknowledges his particular expertise.
“Murray has developed extensive knowledge and experience and has been a huge strength to the firm and our clients in this specialist area,” says Atul Mehta, Auckland Director.
Starting with Moore Markhams in 2013 as manager on Atul Mehta’s team, Murray has assisted a wide range of overseas-owned businesses with inbound investment, merger and acquisition projects, structuring and technical tax queries. This is in addition to supporting Atul with his accounting team, reviewing financial statements and other accounting assignments.
Murray gets huge satisfaction from helping clients resolve their ‘curly’ tax challenges. “I see myself as a problem solver and it’s satisfying to help remove the angst and uncertainty with a practical solution for clients.
