Senior Business Advisory Accountant

We’re an established mid-tier CA firm looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, delivering personalised, practical business advice and taking ownership of their work in a supportive environment.

About the role

This is a hands-on senior position where you will:

• Deliver a broad range of business advisory services to clients including compliance, tax planning, cash flow management, budgeting and investment portfolios
• Build trusted client relationships and exceed your clients’ expectations
• Review work and assist with mentoring and developing junior team members

You bring 4+ years’ NZ CA experience with strong reporting capability and solid experience across BAS, tax advisory and management reporting. You have sound working knowledge of income tax, GST and FBT and are comfortable navigating the IRD system. With a genuine interest in business, you enjoy delivering practical, commercial advice and confidently managing client relationships. You’re a clear, confident communicator and have a knack for translating complex information for both clients and colleagues. You are a collaborative team player with a growth mindset and thrive in a high-performing culture.
