As a Director and Chartered Accountant at Moore VBW, I bring over 10 years of experience within the practice, including close to four years as a Partner. I work closely with small to medium-sized businesses, providing practical, forward-thinking advice across accounting, tax, and business advisory.
My expertise spans a broad range of areas, including investments (both domestic and foreign), farming, forestry, payroll, trusts and estates, with trusts and tax advisory forming my core specialty. I am particularly passionate about helping clients structure and manage their affairs efficiently and sustainably, ensuring both compliance and long-term strategic success. I also have experience preparing Tier 2 IFRS financial statements and supporting clients with complex financial reporting requirements.
In addition, I am highly experienced in accounting systems, with particular expertise in Xero. I work with clients to implement, optimise, and maintain efficient cloud-based systems that provide accurate, timely financial information and streamline payroll processes.
Working primarily with businesses across Taranaki, I support clients from a diverse range of industries, tailoring advice to their unique commercial environments and growth ambitions. In addition to my client-facing work, I bring governance experience and currently serve as a Trustee on several charitable trusts, including the Dame Malvina Major Foundation.
Outside of work, I am married with three young children and am an enthusiastic runner. You will often find me competing in local running events throughout the region.
