I am known for building strong client relationships, providing commercial insight, and delivering clear, considered advice. With more than 20 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant, I work closely with business owners and families to develop solutions that are practical, sustainable, and aligned with their long-term goals.
My experience spans a wide range of advisory and compliance matters, supporting clients through growth, change, and increasing complexity. I am particularly valued for my ability to explain complex issues in plain language, giving clients the clarity and confidence they need to make informed decisions.
Born in Marlborough and raised in a farming environment, I bring a strong work ethic, resilience, and practical mindset to everything I do. These foundations have shaped my collaborative approach and the long-standing relationships I have built with clients throughout my career.
Over the years, I have developed particular expertise in property development and the bloodstock industry. These are areas I am especially passionate about, combining deep industry knowledge with practical commercial and tax advice. I work with clients on the unique structural, financial, and succession considerations that arise within both these industries. From ownership and investment structures through to tax planning, governance, and long-term succession, I help clients make confident decisions that protect and maximise value.
The bloodstock sector presents opportunities and challenges unlike any other industry, and I enjoy working alongside clients who are deeply invested in their horses, breeding operations, and racing interests. My specialist knowledge, combined with firsthand involvement in the racing industry, allows me to provide advice that is both technically sound and commercially relevant.
As part of the firm’s leadership team, I contribute to strategic planning, people development, and the firm’s long-term direction. I also manage a number of our larger and more complex client relationships, helping clients navigate significant decisions with confidence and clarity.
My areas of speciality centre on trusted advisory relationships, where structure, foresight, and clear communication are essential to achieving successful outcomes. Whether I am advising on business growth, succession planning, property investment, or bloodstock interests, my focus is always on providing practical, forward-looking advice that supports confident decision-making and long-term success.
