I help businesses and individuals resolve complex tax issues, restructure their affairs efficiently, and navigate New Zealand’s tax environment with confidence. My work focuses on practical tax advice that supports better decisions, reduced risk, and long-term commercial outcomes.
Based in Auckland, I advise clients on tax structuring, international tax, business advisory matters, and a broad range of complex tax issues. Businesses in the construction, property, hotel, IT, transport, and offshore retail sectors come to me for clear, practical advice that addresses both immediate challenges and long-term goals. Whether you’re restructuring your affairs, responding to an Inland Revenue Department investigation, or planning for future growth, I work alongside you to find effective and tax-efficient solutions.
Tax structuring, international tax, and business advisory have been the focus of my career for more than 30 years. During that time, I have assisted clients with trust planning, employee incentive plans, litigation support, matrimonial matters, and the restructuring of tax affairs across a wide range of industries.
My experience also extends to valuation projects, from medium-sized businesses through to start-up ventures, as well as supporting clients through business acquisitions and sales. Working across diverse sectors has given me a practical understanding of the commercial realities businesses face and the tax considerations that often accompany important decisions.
Complex tax matters can feel overwhelming. My role is to bring clarity to those situations and help you understand your options. Clients value straightforward advice that is relevant to their circumstances and goals. Every situation is different, and I focus on finding solutions that are practical, commercially sound, and appropriate for the people and businesses involved.
