Bio
Audit and assurance advice for Auckland organisations that need clear reporting, practical judgement, and a strong understanding of commercial risk.
I work with local and multinational organisations across Auckland, helping them meet audit, assurance, and financial reporting requirements with confidence. My clients operate across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, software, services, forestry, and not-for-profit organisations.
As an audit partner at Moore Markhams Auckland, my role is to give you clear, practical assurance advice that supports sound decision-making. This includes audit and assurance work, financial reporting, and due diligence assignments connected to merger and acquisition activity.
My career with Moore Markhams Auckland began in 1997, when I joined the firm as a graduate. After qualifying with Markhams, I spent two years on secondment in London, which broadened my experience across different reporting environments and client contexts.
I became a partner of the firm in 2005 and now head the Moore Markhams Auckland audit division. From 2019 to 2023, I served as Moore Markhams New Zealand National Chairman, a role that gave me a wider view of the firm, our people, and the clients we support across New Zealand.
Good audit and assurance work is about more than meeting compliance requirements. It gives you clarity, helps you understand risk, and supports better conversations about the future of your organisation. My approach is practical and commercially aware. I focus on explaining issues clearly, being available when it matters, and giving advice that helps you make informed decisions.
Outside work, I’m married with two children.
