I work with businesses and organisations across Dunedin and Otago, providing accounting, tax and business advisory support that is grounded in day-to-day commercial reality. As a director at Moore Markhams Otago, I help clients understand their numbers, navigate growth opportunities and make confident decisions about the future of their business. My work spans accounting and tax, cashflow and forecasting, cloud-based accounting, compliance, management accounting, taxation planning, succession planning, trusts and estates, and wider business advice. Based in Dunedin, I work closely with a wide range of clients, including business owners, organisations and operators across sectors such as construction, contracting, education, health, hospitality and retail, manufacturing, pharmacy, charities, incorporated societies and not-for-profit organisations. Before joining Moore Markhams as a director in 2020, I worked in professional practice and in senior commercial education roles. That background gives me a practical understanding of the challenges business owners and organisations face every day, from managing performance and cashflow to planning for change and identifying the right next step. Clients come to me for clear, pragmatic advice. The strongest advisory relationships are built on trust, plain language and regular conversations, so I focus on making complex issues easier to understand and decisions easier to act on.
