We are on the search for a highly motivated and eager Junior or Intermediate Accountant to join the team at Moore Oldershaw.

Someone with personality and drive who enjoys interacting with a range of clients and team members.

What you’ll do each day in this role will vary from preparing annual financial statements, GST returns, PAYE to cash flow forecasting and providing business advisory services including software training and support.

You will be liaising directly with clients from a range of different industries, building strong working relationships to deliver best practice service.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for someone who has had at least 1 year of accounting experience at a Chartered Accountancy practice. We are an Approved Training Employer who can provide mentoring and financial assistance during your study to become a Chartered Accountant.

Experience in Excel, Xero & MYOB is advantageous but not essential.

We are looking for a proactive learner who stays up to date with industry changes in today’s constantly evolving environment, with strong communication skills.

    As a key Audit Manager, you will report to the Senior Management and Partnership group, taking ownership of a diverse portfolio of audit engagements. This is a “player-coach” role where you balance technical oversight with the development of our junior and senior staff.

    The successful candidate will need to have prior experience in a role that encompassed the following responsibilities:

    • Collaborative Management: Work alongside other Managers and Assistant Managers to coordinate resources, share best practices, and ensure high-quality delivery
    • Mentorship: Act as a dedicated coach to a talented pool of auditors, helping them navigate their own career paths
    • Operational Input: Contribute to workflow planning and firm strategy—your voice carries weight here.
