Valuation methods for pharmacies

Historically pharmacies have been valued using the Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) multiple method, where an appropriate multiple is applied to a pharmacy’s EBIT.

A number of methods can be used to value a small to medium sized enterprise and different industries have certain types of values and methodologies that are preferred.
