Atul joined Markhams Auckland in 1988 and he has been a partner of the business advisory team since 1996.  In 2011 Atul was appointed Deputy Chair of the National Markhams Group.

Atul's experience includes provision of management and annual financial statements for a wide range of small to medium sized clients, with particular emphasis on management accounts, business restructure, business acquisitions, due diligence assignments and corporate finance.

He has a particular interest in the pharmacy sector and the wider health sector.  Markhams has in excess of 80 retail pharmacy clients, from large to small.  Atul also has experience in mergers and acquisitions and strategic direction in the pharmaceutical and natural health sector.

Atul regularly presents seminars on Pharmacy Valuation, Due Diligence, Buy and Sell Process and Profit Improvements.

Atul is married with three children and spends much of his free time with his children's activities.
