The DTOW boys burn some serious rubber during the Ruapuna Endurance.

The DTOW (Don’t Tell Our Wives) Racing team describe themselves as ‘enthusiastic amateurs’ and came about after Graeme Rhodes and Paul Rickerby signed up for a course at the Canterbury Motor Racing School with Andy Neale. The pair became hooked on speed and the rest is history. Maintaining their enthusiasm is their cherished and fiercely refined 1992 Mazda Rx7 (Batman shape, although in reality there is very little Mazda left). Packing a Chevrolet 6.8-litre V8 LS3-based race engine pushing 650 ponies under the bonnet and numerous V8 supercar parts, including AP brakes, alongside bespoke Penske dampers, a Viper differential, Quaife paddleshift gearbox, Enkei wheels, lightweight panels, a quick fuel system and Porsche slick tyres, the DTOW team are Moore Stephens Markhams track stars.
